OurKidsCode are offering completely free Family Creative Coding workshops in selected Broadband Connection Points and libraries.
These 2-hour workshops are a fun and engaging way for parents and primary-aged children to explore coding together by making a game using craft supplies and child-friendly coding. No previous experience necessary, absolute beginners welcome!
Activities are aimed at ages 7-12, but all children in the family are welcome.
Some things to know before you register:
These workshops are not a drop-off activity!
Registration is not a guarantee of a place on a workshop
Families work together throughout the workshop and
every child must have their parent / legal guardian with them at all times.
Places are offered on a first come, first served basis
If there are places available, you’ll get a separate email to offer you a place
If the workshop is fully booked, you’ll be put on a waiting list
