On March 1st, Dr. Grace Lawlor, Let’s Get Digital Project Worker in South Dublin County Partnership, invited Mary O’Mahony, OurKidsCode Training Coordinator, to deliver facilitator training to a group of teachers from St. Bernadette’s Senior National School, Quarryvale, and staff from South Dublin County Partnership as part of a new initiative to bring OurKidsCode to primary school families in Clondalkin.
Many thanks to Grace for organising a great day, to Balgaddy Child and Family Support Centre for hosting us and to all the attendees for coming out in the snow! We had a lot of fun doing creative coding projects and talking about bringing OurKidsCode into the primary school context. Look our for more news on this exciting new direction for our project.
