Congratulations to Bective Future Coders in Meath on being chosen as a finalist in the Digital Education category of the .ie Digital Town Awards 2024.
Bective Future Coders is a family coding club formed out of the OurKidsCode initiative supported by Meath County Council, the Department of Rural & Community Development, Science Foundation Ireland and delivered by Trinity College Dublin.
Bective Future Coders is a lively and dedicated club. From crafting spooktacular micro:bit Halloween projects to diving into the world of robotics, this club consistently generates creative coding projects. Moreover, they’re all about teamwork, happily sharing their projects with fellow OurKidsCode clubs to inspire collaboration and learning.
But their passion doesn’t stop there! Bective Future Coders goes the extra mile by showcasing their awesome work at public talks and demonstrations. Including championing the OurKidsCode program at Minister Heather Humphreys’ launch of the BCP network across County Meath. It’s clear they’re not just about coding—they’re all about paving the way for STEM educational advancement in their community.
Well done Bective Future Coders and the best of luck in the finals on the 24th May.
