When families are interested in starting their own club, an OurKidsCode Facilitator will guide them through all they need to know from organising and running a MeetUp through to how to choose a coding and STEAM project.
Through the weeks, families develop the knowledge and confidence to run their own self-sustaining club in their local venue. OurKidsCode Clubs usually agree to meet once a week, but each club can choose what works best for their families. Everyone plays a part in running the club, kids and adults, to keep MeetUps fun and productive. Clubs benefit from the full support of the OurKidsCode team and have access to materials, projects, training and events to stimulate their curiosity and creativity.

Club Supports
The aim of OurKidsCode is to develop a nation-wide network of self-sustaining Family Coding Clubs run by families, for families. This is a great opportunity to provide a new and exciting educational activity for the children in the community, that is run supported by the community. OurKidsCode is inclusive and aims to support clubs to work with clubs to remove barriers to ensure they can remain free or low cost, and that the running of the club is shared among the families who join. This gives the best chance of sustaining over the long term. OurKidsCode aims to provide clubs with access to materials, projects, training and events to stimulate their curiosity and creativity. We also provide guidance from fundraising ideas through to how to access available grants and financial support. Keep informed of national and local events here and on our newsletter (sign up to Newsletter).
